Michaelryan's Story

When I was two days away from leaving rehab in 2021, I had a problem. What was I going to do? Where was I doing to go? My drinking had taking everything from me. I was in a strange city and didn't know anyone. My caseworker found several sober living houses, but I had no money. I was advised to find a "sober living scholarship."

After several hours of trying to figure out what to do, I decided to talk to a friend of mine that worked at the rehab I was in.

Breakthrough! Not only did Matt live in a sober living house, but he along with one of his coworkers would give me a scholarship to go there. Because of this generosity, I am now living a sober life.

After a year of sobriety, I along with my cofounder James, decided to start No More Addictions. I want others to get the same help that I got. Many people with Substance Use Disorder need a helping hand. Help others help themselves.
